About Kingsgate Skating Club
The purposes and objectives of Kingsgate Skating Club are to encourage and promote the growth of amateur recreational figure skating and other youth-oriented activities in accordance with established youth movement objectives which teach physical skills, fair play and sportsmanship, discipline, respect for authority, and safety.
Kingsgate Skating Club is committed to the following:
- serving the needs of beginning skaters to promote recreational figure skating competitions
- providing quality programs for training competition skaters
- sponsoring ice shows that involve skaters of all levels.
Membership Benefits
There are many benefits to membership in Kingsgate Skating Club. These include, but are not limited to,
- Reduced rates for ice time. Only members qualify for the lower punch card rate; non-members pay a higher rate.
- Participation in a skater-friendly environment
- Social events
- Ice shows and exhibitions
- Halloween party
- Skate Swap
- Fundraising events
- Community building
Volunteers Needed
Many hands make light work! If you have even a few hours a month, you can make a difference at Kingsgate. For example, we need people to help with our fundraising, membership, volunteers, ice shows, and anything else that comes up.
