KSC will introduce you and your children to the thrill and athletic challenge of skating in a fun, safe, learning environment. Our professional staff teaches a progression of skills to ensure safety; they'll provide the fundamentals of ice skating and then work toward edge control, advanced footwork, jumps and spins.
Whether you are new to skating or interested in enhancing your existing figure skating or hockey skills, we encourage you to join us. We provide a complete and comprehensive program for all ages and abilities. Our coaches will help you develop the necessary motor skills and confidence.
Monday Series (Age 5 through Adult): 6:00 - 7:00 PM
Summer Session (6 weeks/$80): July 14-Aug. 18
Fall Session: Sept. 8-Oct. 20 (includes class on October 13, Columbus Day)
Fall Session: Nov. 3-Dec. 15
Tuesday Series (Age 3 1/2 through Adult): 10:45 - 11:45 AM; includes Public Skate afterward
Summer Session (4 weeks/$60): July 15-Aug. 5
Fall Session: Sept. 9-Oct. 21
Fall Session: Nov. 4-Dec. 16
Tuesday classes will be held if there are sufficient numbers and advanced registrations.)
Friday Series (Age 5 through Adult): 6:00-7:00 PM
Fall Session: Oct. 3-Nov. 21 (No class Oct. 31, Halloween)
Please note: there are no refunds or make-up classes available. Registration deadline is one week prior to start of first class. Please arrive ½ hour before class on the first day and check in at the registration desk. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.

Classes are held at Kingsgate Arena, 14326 124th Ave. NE #A, in Kirkland, WA. Each class includes 30 minutes of professional instruction and 30 minutes of practice/free skating time.
Classes are taught using the U.S. Figure Skating (USFS) basic skills program curriculum standards. Skaters progress through proficiency levels, each level requiring a completion of 6-8 skating elements. Skaters are evaluated on the 6th class. It’s important to acknowledge that each skater progresses at his or her own pace. Most often, it takes more than one 6-week series to complete and advance to the next level.
This unique class is designed specifically for the preschoolers age 3 and 1/2 to age 6. Our professional staff will teach the fundamentals of skating while incorporating music, bubbles, and play.
Don’t feel left out! We offer adult Beginning and Intermediate classes at the same time as our children’s programs. Don’t just watch, participate!
